SE quad, between NB transition ramp & main hwy, on DOT property. 2.5 mi W of entrance to Chiricahua NM. N32 0.393 W109 26.383. Room for ~4 lg RVs. Bonita Canyon CG, Chiricahua NM. 25 very short unlevel gravel BD sites, tables. W spigots, flush toilets. $20, S/A Pass 1/2. Jct SR-186, SR-181 & Bonita Canyon Rd (which goes E to Chiricahua NM) go 2.7 mi on Bonita Canyon Rd, TL to stay on Bonita Canyon Rd for 0.1 mi, TL into CG. 32.01143 -109.35511. Go 5.5 mi (rough & washboarded) into NF, spots along stream for next 1 mi. N31.96722 W109.3191. Open & shaded spots. Very muddy & slippery when wet. Good alternative to NM’s pay CG.
