SR-95, ~5 mi N of town, between MM 149 & 150, 34.19052 -114.21, go E on Cienega Springs Rd (some areas rough). 1) 0.7 mi in, bear L at fork in rd, site w/ stone firering shortly on R (34.18625 -114.201), lg rig OK. State Trust Land, permit required (see AZ Note 3). 14-day limit. 3) 2.6 mi in, flat open area on sm mesa on L (34.19275 -114.17833), several stone firerings, BLM, some dust but mostly away from rd, last lg rig turnaround. From here rd gets rough, washboarded, doable for sm vehicle ~2.5 mi further to “Desert Bar” open wkend afternoons (much traffic) w/ food, drinks, live music (private land, no BD). Blue Water Casino. RV pkg, no facilities. Free. No stay limit. 1 mi NE of Safeway on SR-95, go NW (L if going NE, R if going SW) on Bluewater Dr (34.16 -114.26668) then TL on Resort Dr (do not go R at “RV Park” sign which is a pay area; continue straight then TL toward casino, 34.16588 -114.26593). Free pkg is in front of casino, follow signs – very lg lot. Sign states not to park in dirt areas. Area along 1-mi rd in to the casino pkg lot signed ‘Permit Required’ & is not free. 11300 Resort Dr. 928-669-7000. Any size RV, not very level. N lot can be very noisy. Shea Rd BD (BLM). No facilities. Free. From jct SR-72 & SR-95 in town, go S on SR-72/95 1.5 mi to Shea Rd (34.12974 -114.27972, paved 2-lane), TL (E). Go 4.0 mi to cattle guard (1st mi very rough w/ potholes, rest better but still potholes). Continue 0.8 mi thru State Trust Land (not signed), then BLM land begins, with numerous pullout areas. Good spot at MM 3 where offroad races are held in Jan & Feb. At 6 mi, BLM sign, & room for 10-20 RVs. Camping during races restricted to signed, numbered areas.
