Los Burros CG (NF). 10 BD sites. Tables, fire rings. Pit toilet. Free. 14-day limit. From jct US-60 & Vernon-McNary Rd just N of Vernon, go 11.8 mi S to sign to CG, TL, go 0.25 mi to CG. N34.14 W109.777. 1st part of Vernon-McNary Rd is paved, then to w/in 3 mi of CG is good gravel. Elev 7800′. Sites well-separated, some shaded. Verizon only w/ 3-watt booster. Next to meadow. 2 horse corrals. No OHV vehicles allowed in CG. Site of historic Ranger Sta w/ original bldgs. Hiking trail. Lookout tower ~1 mi to N.
