Reservations required for all sites & horse stalls/paddocks 850-957-6161. Go 5.7 mi S from SR-4 on SR-191, TR (W) on Buddy Hardy Rd (Coldwater sign), follow paved rds (TL at stop sign, jct of 2 paved rds) 5.5 mi to CG. From Milton, go 14 mi N on SR-191 from jct w/ SR-87, TL on Buddy Hardy Rd, follow above. Heavily used even in winter. No horses in CG, but many horse trailer/RVs. Sparse trees in CG. Hurricane Lake North CG (SF). 13 EW sites. Tables, fire rings. Flush toilets/showers. D. Fees & discounts: see FLORIDA SFs NOTE below. ~7.5 mi N of SR-4 on Beaver Creek Rd (paved), TR at sign, go 2 mi to CG. Rd to CG is dirt/gravel, heavily rutted in spots. Hurricane Lake South CG (SF). Numerous tent sites. Flush toilets, D. Fees & discounts: see FLORIDA SFs NOTE below. ~6 mi N of SR-4 on Beaver Creek Rd, TR at sign on Kennedy Bridge Rd, ~2 mi to CG. Bear Lake CG (SF). 20 EW sites, mostly paved, some pullthru. Tables, fire rings. Restrooms/showers. Fees & discounts: see FLORIDA SFs NOTE below. 2 mi E of jct SR-191, go N at sign. Lg-rig OK. Some sites satellite-OK. Antenna+amplifier needed for Verizon signal. Great view. Walk or ride bike across dam. 5 mi foot trail around lake. Fishing pier, boat ramp (elec. motors only).
