Navajo Lake SP. EW, grills, tables, cabanas. Great showers. D. Fees/stay limit: See NEW MEXICO SPs NOTE below. 0.5 mi N of the Dam on SR-511. Most sites have view of lake. Pkg areas (BLM). 1/2 mi NW of SR-511 on SR-173, cross bridge, continue 1/4 mi W, TL on CR-4277, 1) TR on frontage rd, go to top of hill. Park on the V at jct of frontage rd & gas line rd. Great view. Mostly quiet as little traffic & well above the rd.
2) continue on CR-4277 down hill to end, TR on CR-4275, go to end & lg pkg area for San Juan Riv access. Very quiet.

BD spot. Lg flat area, tables, firering. From US-64, go ~4.2 mi N on SR-539 toward Navajo Lake SP. At blue airport sign (visible SB only), go W on gravel rd, BD spot immed on R. 36.79645 -107.6222. Table, fire ring. Room for several rigs. Good Verizon. View of Navajo Lake. Little noisy when gas well generator is operating. May be other spots further W, & E from SR-539 on gravel rd. Lg flat gravel pullout/overlook. From Navajo Lake SP CGs, go S on SR-511, then keep L to go across dam on SR-539. Climb out of valley. Pullout is at top, at Park boundary, MM 4.8 W side. 0.1 mi further, MM 4.9 W side, outside SP, is very short side rd w/ bushes to screen from traffic. Debby Beatty #135578 viewed Sep 19.
