Or, from Union, go 9.4 mi S on SR-237, TL on Telocaset Ln, go 6.1 mi, bear R on Thief Valley Rd, go 1.6 mi to CG. Sagebrush country, no trees. Reservoir empty, Sep 16 (may have water in spring). Pilcher Creek Reservoir (county). BD. Tables, fire pits. Pit toilets, trash cans. Free. Deputy Sheriff says 14 day limit. I-84 x285, go 3.7 mi W, toward Anthony Lake, to where rd makes a 90-degree turn. Keep going straight instead of making the turn, at brown sign “Wildlife Viewing”. Stay on pavement another 3.8 mi until pavement ends. TR on Tucker Flat Rd, go 1.8 mi up hill on good wide gravel rd to Pilcher Creek Res on R. After entrance across cattle guard, sites to R w/ view of little lake, also to L up a hill. Very nice camping areas w/ tall but sparse pines. Boat ramp, fishing. Wolf Creek Reservoir (county). Several pkg areas. Vault toilets, trash can. Free. Deputy Sheriff says 14 day limit. I-84 x283, follow signs ~4.5 mi W on paved rd. N45.0546 W118.01752. Very sloped in lg gravel lot L of boat ramp, 1 level spot by tree to R of boat ramp, some sloped pkg area part-way down hill to R of boat ramp, area right at water edge may be soft. Unnamed CG (OR Dept of Forestry), ~8 gravel pads. Vault toilet. Free. No signs except fire restrictions. I-84 x283, go ~4.5 mi W on paved rd, continue 0.4 mi on good gravel, TL on unmarked rd to CG. Most sites OK for lg rigs. Some unlevel. On hill above Wolf Creek Reservoir, great views, surrounded by natural vegetation. Good ATT. Rd continues NW into NF. Guy Gipson #84383 stayed Sep 16.
