Elk Riv Rd, BD & CGs (NF). Free. Go 4 mi N from town on US-101, MM 297.8, TR (E) on Elk River Rd (paved). 7.7 mi in, deep pullout for 1 rig. Possible turnaround 0.6 miles ahead, otherwise go 7 more mi to Sunshine CG below.
9.9 mi in, just past Y in rd. BD site for tent or camper. Entrance faces W so have to drive very slow to see it.
11.8, BD site to back in w/ a dog leg L.
13.2, short, steep rd w/ potholes to gravel bar for several rigs any size. Turn into pullout after long pile of rocks.
14.6, TL into unsigned Sunshine Bar CG. 6 sites. Vault toilets. Free. 14-day limit. Any size rig. Narrow, twisty CG rd, 1-lane in places. Mosquitoes. Along Elk Riv.
