Go 0.2 mi straight on River St to L of Evans Plunge Water Park (where US-385 bears R), TR on Cold Brook Ave, go 0.2 mi, TL on Evans St, go 0.5 mi, TL at “T”, continue ~0.5 mi on narrow curvy hilly unpaved rd to entrance. 43.46163 -103.49158. SB on US-385, just N of town, at at sign for Cottonwood Springs (43.44849 -103.4744), TR (E), go 0.3 mi, TR on Evans St, go 0.3 mi to “T”, follow above. Swimming, boat ramp, fishing. May-Sep. 3.4 mi (incl 2 mi of 6% grade) W of town on US-18 (43.419 -103.55834), go ~1 mi N at sign to CG on CR-17/Memorial Rd (gravel), bear L at split where CR-17C goes to R, continue 0.3 mi to R into Rec Area entrance, continue 0.6 mi to R onto CG rd. 43.43905 -103.57468.
