Devil’s Canyon CG (NF). 42 level paved BD sites, tables, firerings. Potable W in summer, container fill only, unthreaded bib, sign ‘No Hook-up, Fine Levied’. Pit toilets, trash. $20, S/A Pass 1/2. 1/2 of sites reservable. 14 day limit. Open until 1st snow. ~9 mi N of town on US-191, W side. 37.7367 -109.4113. Lg rig ok, some pullthrus. Lg level gravel storage area. Free. No signs, prob BLM 14 day limit. Avoid if ongoing gravel operations. Sheriff deputy stopped to chat & said to enjoy my stay. Go ~4 mi S from town on US-191, TR (W) on SR-95, go 2+ mi to 0.2 mi W of MM 119, turn N on graded dirt rd, go 0.25 mi to area. Room for 10+ rigs, any size. Butler Wash Indian Ruins Trailhead (BLM). Paved loop rd, level pkg all around. Vault toilet. No prohibitive signs. SR-95 ~MM 111, N side, ~10 mi W of jct w/ US-191/163. N37 31.324 W109 37.95. Comb Wash. Lg dispersed BD sites. Free. 14-day limit. SR-95 MM 107, ~12 mi W of jct w/ US-191/163. Frequent 8% grade w/ no turnarounds until MM 107. Go 1.0 mi past lg cut thru mtn (can see camping area way below), to bottom of hill, TL (S) on dirt rd (CR-235) w/ BLM sign & lg cottonwoods (at 37.51128 -109.65392 & MM 107 but no sign visible WB). If you miss the turn, Mule Canyon Indian Ruins pkg area is 5.9 mi further on R, w/ lg turnaround. After turn onto CR-235, lg sites short distance in, on L & R, then at ~0.3 mi in, 37.50807 -109.6539, rd to R goes to lg dusty area w/ multiple sites (watch clearance – some lg tree limbs), some tables & fire rings, vault toilets. At ~0.6 mi in, 37.50363 -109.65602, lg rig sites both sides, one on R has turnaround. Do not take lg rig further down CR-235 – deteriorates, no turnaround. No Verizon. Great base to explore Comb Wash, Butler Wash, Arch Canyon, Natural Bridges NM, cliff dwellings. CR-2331 BD areas (BLM). No facilities. Free. 14-day limit. Just E of MM 97 on SR-95 (4 mi E of jct w/ SR-261), at 37.56478 -109.81567, go S on CR-2331, good but narrow graded rd (avoid when wet). 0.2 mi in, at 37.56227 -109.81411, side rd to L goes to BD area OK for lg RV, could pull around to exit w/out unhooking or backing, then further down side rd at 37.56133 -109.81415, rd ends at turnaround w/ great view, OK for sm-med RV.
~0.4 mi in, at 37.55881 -109.81437, BD area to L OK for lg RV (back up to exit), stone firering, panoramic views.
~0.8 mi in, just after crossing cattle guard, side rd goes to L, BD site at 37.55364 -109.81309, this is the last site OK for lg RV down CR-2331. Rd further becomes rougher, deep dips, steep hills. Although it loops back to SR-95 at 37.54463 -109.76322, do not take lg rig thru here.

BD area signed “Camping” (BLM). No facilities. Free. Lg mostly gravel fairly level lot OK for 10-15 lg RVs. SR-95, MM 93, ~2 mi E of turnoff to Natural Bridges NM (SR-275), TR (S) on SR-261, go 50 yards & TL. ~1/4 mi on R is BD site next to a corral (can be muddy, rutted when wet). Next ~1/4 mi to lg lot is severely washed out & rutted. Park lg rig at corral & check ahead to see if you can go further. N37.57039 W109.88282. Limited Verizon. Open sky for solar/sat. Kane Gulch, paved long-term pkg lot. Pit toilets. Free. Go ~4 mi S from town on US-191, TR (W) on SR-95, go ~25 mi toward Natural Bridges NM, TL (S) on SR-261, go ~5 mi, E side, just S of Ranger Sta. 7 pullthru spaces & many car spaces. Muley (Mulie) Point, BD areas. No facilities. Free. Go ~4 mi S from town on US-191, TR (W) on SR-95, go ~25 mi toward Natural Bridges NM, TL (S) on SR-261, go ~25 mi to just after MM 10, TR on gravel rd just N of Moki Dugway SR-261/CR-241, signed from N to Muley Point, go ~5 mi. 37.23306 -109.99333. Closer to Mexican Hat UT but do not try coming N from there on SR-261 (Moki Dugway) if over 20′ total length. 1) Looparound pullout OK for lg rig at jct w/ SR-261, NW quad.
2) Good graded rd (but red clay, slippery when wet, unhook & take sm vehicle if unsure) to Point crosses 2 wide cattle guards, but rd not suitable for long motorhomes due to deep dips right before Point. Natural Bridges NM CG (NPS). 13 sites w/ tables, grills, tent pads. W at unthreaded pipe, max 5 gal. $10, S/A Pass 1/2, + $6 vehicle entrance fee (free w/ S/A Pass). Open all yr. No reservations. Lg/long old asphalt/gravel spur (BLM). Free. 14-day limit. SR-95, MM 86.9, ~4 mi W of turnoff to Natural Bridges NM (SR-275), N side of hwy (unsigned). 37.54064 -109.96207. 1/4-mi long, mostly paved, 3 entrance/exits (both ends & middle which is best). Room to park on both edges, fits many lg rigs. Several dirt side turn-ins w/ fire pits for sm rigs on N edge. Some shade on N edge. Good views of Bears’ Ears. Elev 6560′.
