TL at sign “Nebo Loop Scenic Rd”, go 3.5 mi, bear L, go 1.4 mi to CG. Paved rds up to CG. CG has hard packed gravel rd & sites. No Verizon. Trees. 4 sites OK for lg rigs. May be dumpsters at mile 6. BD areas, Mt Nebo Loop Natl Scenic Bypass/FR-15 (NF). No facilities. Free. 14-day limit w/in 30 (enforced Aug 12: $125 fine + $25/day over 14 – discretionary), must leave Uinta NF. Go E on SR-132, 5 mi from I-15 x225. TL at sign “Nebo Loop Scenic Rd”. Go 1 mi, lg paved pkg area. Between mi 2 and 3.5, dozens of roadside sites of various sizes, most easily accessible, some shaded, vault toilet. Occasional sites, incl many designated CGs, all free, the 1st 25.6 mi of this rd, which has a 9345′ summit & breathtaking views of Mt. Nebo, & loops back to I-15 at Payson, UT (no dispersed camping last 10 mi before Payson). Lg rigs not advised past 3.5 mi N of SR-132 due to low trees & tight turns. Best BD areas heading N are at mi 23 on R, 23.5 on L, 25 on L, 25.3 on L, 28.2 on L. Take camera on short walk to “Devil’s Kitchen” – like a mini Bryce Canyon. Yuba Lake Rec Area (BLM, admin by UT DNR). Pit toilets, dumpsters. $10, no S/A discount. Fee envelope says pay for 2 nights only, but no stay limit posted. 25 mi S of Nephi, take I-15 x202 (Yuba Lake), go E then S, 2 mi to turnoff to L (39.40749 -112.02943), to short distance to entrance to North & West Beaches. Closed/gate locked in winter; lg turnaround in front. Along Yuba Lake/Sevier Bridge Reservoir. North Beach has ~30 tables/fire rings, sign warns of deep sand. Sand at upper part of camping area but packed sand along lake. West Beach has ~50 tables/fire rings w/ packed sand over most of area. 1 grove of trees has ~10 sites OK for lg rigs, another has ~5.
