Limited overflow camping in Amphitheater pkg lot, same fee, 1 night only then must get a regular site. Reservations required. 14-day limit Jun-Aug, 30 other mos. ~5/7-10/8. ~7 mi N of Jackson (~6 mi S of Moose) on US-26, go ~4.5 mi NE on Gros Ventre Rd. 43.616 -110.667. Fills by 5p in Jul. Loops A & B best for RVs. Most are back-in, wide rather than long. Generators not allowed on W side of CG. Among sagebrush & cottonwood trees near Gros Ventre Riv. Many sites unshaded. Verizon OK. Free wifi at deli/store in town & at Moose Visitor Ctr in town. Wilson Rd, beautiful scenic 8-mi drive, narrow, mostly paved, RVs not allowed, wildlife & wildflower viewing & trails. Moose in Sep.
