Just after entering NF, turn N (L) on FR-100 (N Brush Creek Rd), go 3.5 mi to CG. N41 22.4 W106 30.8. Just past CG TR (E) for dispersed BD area, any size rig. 8100′ elev. Fishing, ATV trail. Deer, moose, elk. Recent insect infestation killed many trees in area. This CG has some trees left. Other CGs in area lost all trees & have been clear cut. Dispersed sites, incl lg open meadow ~2 mi in, N41.30136 W106.47993, just before a barrier to further travel. Quiet, full of flowers. Elev 8538′. Saratoga Lake Park (city). 50 lg-rig 30A E sites (50A on upper level) & lg area of undesignated BD sites. Some firerings & tables. Vault toilets, several nonpotable W (threaded). $10 BD, $15 E. From N edge of town (North Platte Riv bridge) go 1 mi N on SR-130. Watch for Camping sign on E side, & Public Access (large ‘P’) sign on W side of hwy. TR (E) on Saratoga Lake Rd, TL at 1st intersection, following around wetland ~1 mi to CG. N41 28.14 W106 47.31. Open, level. All sites have view of lake and mtns beyond. Boat access w/ dock, swimming. Good Verizon. Can be windy. Free (donation requested) municipal hot spring (very hot) in town (w/ shower & changing room). Swim pool in town $3 for age 65+.
