Pahranagat NWR (FWS). 15 BD sites, tables, grills. Vault toilets, dumpster. Free. 14-day limit. Open all yr. 3.5 mi S of Alamo on US-93 along Upper Pahranagat Lake, at 37.31662 -115.1296, turn W at sign, go 1.3 mi to 1st site, on dusty sometimes washboarded rd, 2.4 mi back to last site, same rd in & out. Some pullthrus OK for lg rigs, some back-in for sm-med rigs, 4 are tent only. Turnaround at end OK for lg rigs. You can see sites from US-93 if traveling N. Most sites any size rig, a few sm rig only. Birdwatching, fishing, boats w/o motors. 3-mi trail around lake. Beautiful sunset/sunrise views. Open fires only in fire pits at sites. No wood gathering, no swimming, no overflow O/N, no ATVs/ORVs. Wood for sale at grocery next to Sinclair in town. Gets full, esp on wkends. Quiet at nite (quiet hrs 10p-7a). BD (BLM). S of town, US-93, N side, directly across from entrance to Pahranagat CG. 37.31662 -115.1296. Rd goes short distance to lg flat area suitable for BD. It is just beyond a range fence; open gate if necessary but leave it the way you found it. Great for temporary overflow if needing to wait for a space at the CG. Good Verizon 3G.
