American Falls Reservoir Rec Area (BOR). Huge pkg lot. 3 covered tables, grills, steel firerings. Pit toilets, trashcans. Free. 14-day limit posted; only other sign says “No pkg or storage of unattended RVs, campers or boats”. From I-86 x40, NW side, go 3.1 mi W on SR-39, on R. N42 46.84 W112 52.94. Lot somewhat sloped. Wide open sky. Great view, on bluff above Reservoir. Verizon OK. Also, 4WD can go down boat ramp & go L or R onto beach (soft sand at entrances). Go N from I-86 x33, then NE on access rd 1.9 mi, TL on Pipeline Rd (look for Pipeline Rec Area sign), go 0.5 mi on good gravel/dirt rd. Or, I-86 x36, go SW on frontage rd 1.5 mi, TR on Pipeline Rd (harder turn for lg rig due to angle, but most could do by staying to L on frontage rd & around wide turn area). Along Snake Riv.
