From Amidon, go W ~2 mi on US-85, TR (W) onto gravel rd. Go 1 mi, turn N on rd #742, go ~9 mi to CG turnoff sign. CG is ~1 mi E. 46.5972,-103.4436. Access rd goes thru private land so please stay on the rd. The coal vein is no longer burning but the area can be viewed from the CG pkg lot. Columnar Juniper and Ponderosa Pine areas nearby.
