CGs at Great Basin NP. Tables, W, pit toilets. Fee 1/2-price when W turned off. $20, S/A Pass 1/2. No NP entrance fee. Reserve Mem Day-Oct, rec.gov. Park map/brochure free at visitor ctrs or at for CG locations. Lower Lehman CG is open all yr, has shorter trees for those who need satellite/solar, good for lg rigs, ~4 pullthrus of 11 sites. D ($10 fee, no S/A discount, W free). No reservations. ~3.5 mi S from US-6/50 on SR-487, go W from Baker on SR-488, following signs to park. 7300′ elev. Also Wheeler Peak CG, tarred sites, tables, pit toilets, reservable, 9500′ elev, max RV length 24′. Fair Verizon in Baker Creek CG (3 mi gravel rd, no reservations) & along main rd. Verizon roaming in Lower Lehman. Main Visitor Ctr is not in the Park – it is a short distance N of Baker on SR-487. Drive thru the park (12 mi up 8% grade on narrow 2-lane to 9800′ elev) & back is stunningly beautiful – views of Wheeler and Jeff Davis Peaks, views of the Snake Valley you leave from the E (~3000′ downhill), meet the oldest living organisms in existence – the bristlecone pines – if you want to do a 2.5 mi hike at end of the rd. Strawberry Creek Rd, BD & Primitive CGs. Free.  US-6/50, 3.3 mi W of jct w/ SR-487, go SW on FR-456/Strawberry Creek Rd (decent gravel). Rd goes thru BLM & NF before entering remote N side of Great Basin NP. Most spots along creek. 2.1 mi in, on L, 39.0688 -114.25, pullthru spot in BLM, OK for lg rig. Other similar spots before NP boundary.
~4.6 mi in, soon after NP entrance, 39.0608 -114.274, CG w/ ~10 spaces, tables, fire rings, vault toilet, trash cans. CLOSED due to fire in prior yr, toilet open. Max ~24′ rig. Very quiet. Last turnaround w/ trailer until trailhead 4 mi further (day use only). PHOTO.

Lg gravel storage area. 3 mi N of town on SR-487. Room for many RVs, any size. Easy 8-mi drive to Great Basin NP. Good option if the lg spaces in the NP CGs are full. Many ant hills. Sacramento Pass Rec Area CG (BLM). 10 pullthru sites in main area, 6 sites in Pond CG loop, & 4 sites in Upper Trailhead/CG (horse camp). Tables, cabanas, grills. Vault toilets, trash cans, interpretive signs. Free. US-6/50, 2.2 mi. E of Sacramento Pass summit, MM 87, S side of hwy, just E of turn for CR-35 (Osceola Rd). W of Baker & SR-487. N39.1221 W114.3048. Rd to Upper Trailhead is accessed from the SE corner of Pond CG loop, up hill on a good improved rd to 2 long back-in sites, 1 short back-in, & 1 pullthru handicap (N39.1144 W114.3039). Any size RV. Also many dirt rds in area w/ dispersed sites. Spacious & open, rds in great condition, easy in/out. Trails, fishing dock. No Verizon. ATT w/ booster in Upper Trailhead/CG. Mostly unshaded.
