Unmarked pullout. BD. No facilities. Free. Stay limit unk. SR-55, 6.7 mi S of Banks on W side, next to riv. (N44.01439 W116.15676). Loops around behind hill & back to hwy. Not wide enough for lg rig turnaround. N end of loop at hwy is steep, rough, not advised for lg motorhome. Most if not all other pullouts, launch sites & Sportsman Accesses along SR-55 between Banks & Horseshoe Bend are not lg-rig-friendly &/or are day use only, some w/ fees. to GARDEN VALLEY: Numerous pullouts E of SR-55 for 8 mi on Banks-Lowman Rd between Banks & Garden Valley, most of which are next to riv. Banks-Lowman Rd is paved, 2-lane, w/ lower speed limit & much less traffic than SR-55. Paul & Sage Mueller #104401 Jul 10.
