From US-34, exit 1st Ave just W of “Welcome to Benkelman” sign, follow 1st Ave/Railroad St ~1/4 mi to Park. Past the park shelter & before lg out-of-business store, TL into driveway, go uphill to back of Park to Dakota St, TL & see the campsites directly behind the Park. Best to check out on foot 1st, also advise unhooking tow vehicle before navigating the hilly sts & low-hanging trees in town. Sm/med rigs. Swim pool. Good Verizon. Some train noise.
