US-191 from SR-84 to US-287, pullouts nearly every 1/2-mi. All shapes, sizes & levels. No facilities. Free. Gallatin NF has a rule no camping on their land w/in 1/2 mi of US-191 (& there are occasional No Camping signs), but most of these are owned by the state hwy dept. Spire Rock CG (NF). 18 BD sites, tables, firerings. Toilets, trash service. $16, S/A Pass 1/2. 16 day limit. US-191 MM 65.4, go E on unsigned turnoff (FR-132, 45.45814 -111.24695), go across round-shaped concrete bridge (low dip before, may not work for motorhome or bus), TR at “T”, go 2.7 mi on good gravel rd (a bit narrow/winding in spots) to CG entrance on R. 45.44169 -111.20701. Red Cliff CG (NF). 64 sites, sites 1-26 have E. Tables, firerings. W and trash near entrance. Vault toilets. $20, S/A Pass 1/2. +$8 (no discount) for E sites. Extra vehicle $6. 16 day limit. From Big Sky take US-191 S 6.5 mi, CG is on L. 48 mi S of Bozeman. 45.17417 -111.24167. Some sites reservable. Fills on wkends. Dirt rd thru CG, dirt & gravel pads. Lg-rig OK.
