SR-160, 4.9 mi W of jct w/ SR-159, between MM 15 & 16, N side of rd. 36 0 42.281N 115 25 49.7W. Room for several rigs in horse trailer pkg area, pullthru. A bit unlevel. Weak Verizon. Lovell Canyon Rd (NF). BD. No facilities. Free. Prob 14-day limit. 23 mi W of I-15 x33 on SR-160 going toward Pahrump (13 mi W of Red Rock Canyon and 13.3 mi W of jct SR-159 & SR-160), take Lovell Canyon Rd N up to 12 mi on paved rd (fair/average condition). Many spots to pull into via dirt/gravel side rds, most good for 1-2 RVs (check 1st if lg rig or towing, avoid sites in wash due to flood potential). Area to unhook at jct SR-160 & Lovell Canyon Rd if you want to check out first. Only 2 good turnaround areas – 1 at 6 mi in on L at entrance to Lovell Wash Group Camp, 2nd at end of paved rd (12 mi in). Room for ~5 RVs at Group Camp, but area also used for clay shooting. Nice sites 4-10 mi in, check N36 03.658 W115 33.568. No Verizon. Long grade on SR-160 just E of Lovell Canyon Rd over Mt Potosi. Dick/Elaine Marshall #12166 Apr 97.
