5 NF CGs along Chetco Riv. BD, various facilities. Most free, or S/A Pass 1/2. All 14-day limit. None suitable for lg rigs. From US-101 in town, go 8.7 mi E on CR-784 (along N bank of Chetco Riv). Becomes FR-1376 (narrow paved 1st 8 or 9 mi) at NF boundary. Find Miller Bar CG 2 mi in (gated, no signs), Nook Bar CG 3 mi in (pit toilet, sm rig site), Redwood Bar CG ~4 mi in (sm rig/tent, $10 for 14 days), Little Redwood CG 5.1 mi in ($10, pit toilet), South Fork CG 8 mi in. TO PORT ORFORD: Pullouts along US-101. No facilities. Free. 12 hr limit w/in 24. Those below are unsigned, therefore OK for O/N pkg. Unless otherwise stated, all are on W (ocean) side of hwy, & are accessible going both directions. Most have reasonably level section(s), & breathtaking views of ocean & coast. Avoid congestion by using before Mem Day & after Labor Day. Sizes all approx size (most are irregularly shaped) from satellite imagery. Listed going NB from Brookings:
