Mostly paved: From Calipatria, go S on SR-111, 1.5 mi to Albright Rd. TL, go 1/4 mi across tracks & immed R onto Kershaw Rd. Go 2 mi S, TL on Titsworth Rd. Go 0.2 mi to Smith Rd (graded dirt), TR, go 0.6 mi. You will see a “left curve” sign to take you onto Williams Rd, do not take it. Instead, TR, continue past sign “Finney Lake Camping Area”. Lg shaded pkg area immed on R, and on up rd to L, more similar sites along R of rd. Go up hill from there & further down rd to no-tree camping areas higher off the lake. 33.06252 -115.49893. Or, if coming up SR-111 from S, TR on Rutherford Rd (CR-S26), go 0.8 mi, immed after crossing RR tracks, TL on Kershaw Rd. Go 2.2 mi to Titsworth Rd, TR, follow above. Splendid lake views & birdwatching, fishing & hunting w/ license. Reports of mosquitoes sometimes, & nearby cattle lot odors if wind is wrong; I had little of those.
