French Creek CG (NF). 21 sites, tables, fire rings. Drinking W, vault toilets, trash service. $15, S/A Pass 1/2. Cash or check, fee envelopes & collection box near entrance. Extra vehicle fees may apply.  Reservations rec.gov or 877-444-6777. May be some no-reservation sites. May-Sep (weather permitting, through hunting season). May be no drinking W after Sep 30th. Gravel rds & pkg spurs. From SR-55 in town, go 1/2 mi W on Lake Cascade Pkwy, TL (S) on Lakeshore Dr, go 3 mi, TR on W Mountain Rd, go ~3.9 mi (paved except for last mi), TL on Anderson Creek Rd. Pass turnoff to Sno-Park, then go 1 mi further to CG. On W side of Cascade Lake. Sites #19, 20 and 21 good for long rigs. Richard & Kathy Howe #74769 stayed Jun 23. 

West Mountain Sno-Park (NF). BD. No facilities. Free. From SR-55 in town, go 1/2 mi W on Lake Cascade Pkwy, TL (S) on Lakeshore Dr, go 3 mi, TR on W Mountain Rd, go ~3.9 mi (paved except for last mi), TL on Anderson Creek Rd, go 1/4 mi to Sno-Park. SR-55, N end of town, MM 116.2 (44.52777 -116.04106), go 2.8 mi E on Warm Lake Rd/FR-22 (paved wide 2-lane) to ~MM 74 (44.52779 -115.98419), S side of rd. Fits ~2 lg RVs. Pretty view of Davis Reservoir to S. Locals park to fish, esp on wkends. Lg rig turnaround poss if other vehicles not in way. Close to rd – noise. Good spot to unhook & scout Horsethief Reservoir. BD, FR 22 (NF). SR-55, N end of town, MM 116.2 (44.52777 -116.04106), go ~5 mi E on Warm Lake Rd/FR-22 (paved wide 2-lane) to Gold Camp Loop River Rd on L. Horsethief Reservoir Public Access, W side (ID Fish & Game). Over 100 numbered BD sites in 5 CGs. Stone firerings. Vault toilets. Free. Fill out registration envelope (donation optional) at CG entrances, display stub in window. 10-day limit w/in 30. SR-55, N end of town, MM 116.2 (44.52777 -116.04106), go 6 mi E on Warm Lake Rd/FR-22 (paved wide 2-lane) to just E of MM 74 (44.53513 -115.93201), TR (S) on Horsethief Rd (signed to Reservoir, FR-433, good gravel), go 1.1 mi to entrance (44.52381 -115.91986, info board w/ great map). Continue straight on dirt rds, some badly potholed, take it very slow. 3rd CG in, Kings Point, has 34 sites signed for RVs, some OK for lg ones, not very level. Mostly shaded. Loops back to Horsethief Rd. 4th CG in, Deer Knob, has some sites OK for lg RVs, some reasonably level. Some sites have great view of lake & forested hills. Some low tree branches toward end of loop. Loops back to Horsethief Rd & is last chance for lg-rig turnaround w/out backing. Long motorhome not advised further S on Horsethief Rd – may bottom out in short deep concrete wash. Other 3 CGs not good for lg RVs. Boat ramp. Rainbow trout fishing. Verizon 0-1 bar but worked for voice. W pumps locked, not allowed to use. Brian & Kitty Benzar #108579 stayed Jun 15.
