Pullout. No facilities. Free. No restrictive signs. SB on TCH-1, take exit for PR-470 to R, instead of keeping straight at sign for ferry to NS. Go 1/4 mi to pullout on R. 47.58625 -59.13551. Public Library, pkg lot. O/N approved by librarian, but NOT on Wed (bingo) night. From Ferry terminal, W on TCH-1 to 1st exit (x10) for Port Aux Basques (Downtown). L at top of ramp to cross over TCH then R. Take 1st L onto Grand Bay East & ~0.2 mi to Library on R (N) side. From N on TCH, take Port Aux Basques (Downtown) exit, then immed L, then quickly R onto Grand Bay East. N47 35.3334 W59 9.8957. Lot on W side of library & E of Lion’s. Stay to rear (N) of lot. On W side (L as heading N) of TCH-1, 2 mi from ferry to NS, after crossing bridge over bay, just as hwy begins to climb to visitor ctr on E side (R). Do not take exit from TCH-1 into town. Suggest not trying at night. Many potholes. Watch for uncovered manhole in ctr of lot. OK for 2 RVs (need to unhook toad to maneuver). Hwy noise. Good view of bay. Make 1st R turn (W) on Hopedale Ave, go 1/4 mi to culdesac. N47 35.248 W59 11.305. Room for a few lg rigs, easy turnaround. D & W are on R going in. Noise from locals racing cars & hanging out. From TCH-1 in N end of town take Grand Bay West, crossing causeway, continue to Kyle St, TR on Kyle, continue to end of rd. 47.5831 -59.18425. 2 lots, room for several RVs, turnaround OK. Also access from WB lanes, hwy not divided there. 2 paved pullouts lg enough for several rigs, 1 at either end of service rd. Also a gravel pullout. Mostly level.
