Elk Valley Casino, paved pkg lot w/ 6 long RV sites. No facilities. Check in at front desk. 2 nite limit. US-101 at S end of town 1.5 mi S of Chevron, go E on Sand Mine Rd. Go ~1 mi to Casino. Del Norte County, which covers US-199 from Crescent City to the Oregon line (many lg pullouts), & US-101 from S of Klamath, CA to the Oregon line, has an ordinance prohibiting O/N RV pkg or camping along state/US hwys in the county or on county-owned property. Although no signs along most hwys, there could be trouble if you O/N at pullouts, etc, although a sheriff said he enforces a 1-day limit at any location.
