No posted stay limit at site or on website. From US-395, N end of Doyle, 40.0568 -120.1309, go 1.2 mi E on Laver Crossing Rd (paved), TR (S) on Hackstaff Rd (wide, dusty gravel, somewhat washboarded), go 1.2 mi to Fort Sage Rd (graded washboarded dirt), TL (E), go 1 mi to Diamondback Trailhead CG on R (~3 sites for any size RV), or 0.4 mi more to Fort Sage Trailhead CG on L (~10 sites of varying sizes), 40.06058 -120.07273, or 0.2 mi more to lg open gravel lot “Raptor Trailhead” OK for any size rig. Lg rigs do not take Doyle Loop Rd from US-395, S end of Doyle, following signs to this area, due to narrow 1-lane bridge & another signed weight limit 3 tons. Ft Sage Rd (dirt) can be very muddy if raining. Other locations in Fort Sage Special Recreation Mgmt Area suitable only for sm RVs, most 4×4 access. Fort Sage trailhead has OHV info board, unloading ramp. Surrounded by juniper, sage & rock formations. Great solar/sat. Verizon OK. Spectacular view of valley below & mtns.
