Follow 25th, 4.0 mi to NF boundary. Continue 1.5 mi on steep washboarded gravel to entrance. 37.33611 -107.915. Gravel rds & sites. Stop & register at host site on L on entering camp. Heavily shaded. W spigots, restrooms. $20 ($40 double), S/A Pass 1/2. +fee for E, no discount. ~18 mi N of town on US-550, go E at Chris Park sign, TL into CG. Fishing, hiking, swimming. Cell service poor. BD (NF). Free. ~27 mi N of town on US-550, at Purgatory Ski Resort, turn W on FR-578 (or drive thru Resort), 37.6365 -107.8064. Good curvy gravel Hermosa Park Rd, very steep in sections. Check 1st w/ sm vehicle (can leave RV at Resort pkg lot). BD sites start after ~5 mi on Hermosa Park Rd, passing Sig Creek CG (don’t go in, very tight). ~2 mi from CG, after descent into a wide open valley, many spaces to camp along riv.
