BD areas along 20.6 mi of Ehrenberg-Oxbow Rd along E bank of Colorado Riv, no facilities, free, most if not all 14-day BLM. I-10 x1, go S to roundabout, take exit off roundabout Frontage Rd West, TL at BLM sign “Ehrenberg-Oxbow Rd” between FlyingJ Service bays & CB Shop. Well maint gravel all the way, dusty. Some locations: 1) Go 2.6 mi S, go R down rd to boat ramp on riv. BD areas all around before the ramp, & continue L just before the ramp, 4 spots down the spit of land (ends at a point, no room for lg-rig turnaround). Some trash. Very quiet, wildlife, scenic riv. 2) 0.5 mi more down main rd, go R 0.1 mi, go R 0.2 mi. Culdesac on bank above riv, stone firerings. Last reval by Chas Wilder #88717 Apr 18.
3) 3.5 mi more down main rd, take rd to L to BD spots along a backwater.
4) 1.2 mi more, BD area on L along a backwater. View of RV resort across riv (starts at $20 no HUs).
5) 2.3 mi more, rds down to riv, BD spots.
6) 0.8 mi more, same as #5.
7) 4.2 mi more, nice BD areas along riv for next 1.6 mi. Then, 0.9 mi further is the Cibola Bridge across the riv, wide enough for lg rig, rated 40 tons. Go straight afterwards to SR-78, or go L down levee rd (well maint gravel) 4 mi to Oxbow CG (see CA, PALO VERDE) then TR & it is 0.5 mi to SR-78. (There is another bridge there, not lg enough for lg rigs, so do not take levee rd on E side of riv.) Sites can also be reached the opposite way from SR-78 in CA & the Cibola Bridge.
