San Juan County FG (McGee Park) next to SunRay Park & Casino. BD in lg (fairly level) pkg lot in front of FG entrance arch. W&D in FG. Free. O/N OK per FG office & Sheriff. ~3 mi E on US-64 at CR-5500, turn S at light, go ~0.2 mi, then R into lot. 36.69947N 108.09580W. Casino does not allow O/N pkg in their part of the lot (SW corner, leased from FG for customer pkg). Room for many lg rigs, well lit, good Verizon 3G. Open all yr but winter weather may impede safe access. ~35.9 mi S of town on SR-371, MM 70.3, TL (E) on CR-7297 (gravel, washboarded, go slow) at BLM Bisti Wilderness sign, go 1.9 mi, TL on CR-7299, go 1.1 mi to pkg area just S of a broad wash, E side of rd. N36.26208 W108.25298. 2-3 rigs. Another smaller pkg area 0.2 mi further. Unshaded, very dark skies. No ATT, Verizon 1 bar 4G. Very busy wkends in spring. Open all yr. Area lies between SR-170, SR-574, & SR-516, w/ multiple entry points on dirt rds. From Pinon Hills Blvd in N end of town, go 2 mi N on Glade Rd/CR-1980 to the Glade entrance & the open OHV area. 36.8061 -108.1806. Dirt rd several mi before CG, but OK for lg rigs. 5700′ elev.
