Numerous gravel pullouts on US-501 from Glasgow SE toward the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Distances from jct US-501 & SR-130 in town to four “official” pullouts: vista at 1.5 mi (N37.61629, W79.43248), picnic area at 2.2 mi (N37.60718, W79.43046) , picnic area at 4.1 mi (N37.60899, W79.40266), and an Appalachian trailhead at 5.2 mi (N37.597, W79.39126, need to backup to get out).
