Land Between the Lakes (LBL) NRA (NF) Visitor Ctr. No CG or O/N at or near ctr. 10 established fee CGs, and numerous lake access areas where camping is allowed but Basic/Dispersed Camping Permits are required at those if age 18 and up ($10/3-day, $50/yr). 14-day limit at any one CG (a few CGs are 21) or backcountry area, then must move at least 1 mi and not return for 7 days. Free W & D at N and S Welcome Stations, and on The Trace Rd, 0.5 mi S of US-68, E side, S of Golden Pond Visitor Ctr, maps and other info also avail. Current rates: . Taylor Bay CG, Land Between the Lakes (LBL) NRA (NF). Dumpster. $10, S/A Pass 1/2. From US-68/SR-80, go N on The Trace (FR-100/SR-453) ~7 mi to Mulberry Flat Rd (FR-135), TR (E), go 5 mi on narrow paved rd, TR (FR-136) & go short distance to CG. Many sites, both open & shaded, some w/ old numbered posts (prob was once a TVA CG). Most pretty level, lg rig OK. Nice lake view. Jun 20.

Turkey Bay OHV Area, Land Between the Lakes (LBL) NRA (NF). Many dispersed campsites. Dumpsters, portajohns. $12, S/A Pass 1/2. Separate fees for OHV riding. 14-day limit. Open all yr unless heavy snow. From US-68/SR-80, go S ~2.2 mi on The Trace (FR-100/SR-453), TR (W) on FR-167, go ~200′ to pkg lot. Rd goes to campsites from behind check-in sta on L in lot at 36.75041 -88.07103, bear R after exiting lot. Beautiful spots on both sides of rd down to lake, some shaded, some not, some right along lake. Buzzing noises. Jun 20.
