On Hwy-560 there is an area starting ~10-12 mi W of Gowganda with nice pullouts. It is generally for boating access; plenty of room and observed rigs camping there. If there is a concern, this part of the rd is paved, contrary to some maps. Also, between Gowganda and the junction with Hwy-144 there are several sections of old rd that can be accessed for O/N.
