Upper Grays Meadow CG (NF). 32 paved, mostly unlevel BD sites. Flush toilets, dispersed W spigots. $19, S/A Pass 1/2. 14-day limit. Reservable. Apr 23-Oct 29. From US-395 in town, go 6 mi W on Market St (becomes Onion Valley Rd) to CG. Sites average ~39′ long. Along Independence Creek (stocked weekly w/ trout). 6900′ elev. Goodale Creek CG (BLM). 43 sites (5 are pullthru). Tables, firerings. Vault toilets. No potable W. $5, S/A Pass 1/2. 14-day limit. No reservations. Also LTVA, see CA NOTE 9 below. Generally open mid-Apr thru Nov 30. Go 13.5 mi N of town on US-395, TL (W) on Goodale Creek Rd, go 2 mi to CG. Paved access. Some sites OK for lg rigs. Fantastic views, stocked creek. Fort Independence Travel Plaza & Casino, paved pkg lot & RV Park. D ($10 if not staying in Park). O/N pkg permitted free in lot on N side of Plaza, portajohn. Park is $10, W at most sites, 8 pullthru sites w/ S, restroom, showers. 2.8 mi N of town on US-395, to R of Casino. 36 50.176 -118 13.77. E boxes in Park turned off, need repair.
