Back-in sites, some very long. Grass & trees. Gen hrs 6a-10p. No ATVs or motor bikes. Park is along Henry’s Lake, stocked w/ cutbow trout. Go 0.8 mi, stay on gravel, road forks, keep to L, go 0.2 mi to BD area. N44 36.938 W111 25.034. Primitive dirt rd L to lg grassy area above shore, flat, some level. N from Island Park on US-20 to MM 389, across from Elk Creek Sta (Phillips 66), TL (W) on CR-A2 (Kilgore-Yale Rd), signs: Buttermilk CG & McCrea Bridge CG, go 3.7 mi, watch for sign “Eagle River Ranch Next Left”, TL on Old Shotgun (Kilgore?) Rd (paved, sign), go 0.1 mi to Cowen Rd/FR128 (paved, sign), TL, go 0.9 mi, watch carefully for sm FR-129 sign on gravel turnoff to L, TL, go 0.4 mi on gravel rd to “Camping Limit” sign on R. Just beyond sign on R, lg flat grassy BD area. Some trees, mostly open, fire ring. Or continue 0.2 mi to boat ramp BD area. Many “parking sites”, some w/ tables & fire rings.
