Parish Cabin CG (NF). 20 sites. W spigots (some threaded), vault toilet. $8, S/A Pass 1/2. 14 day limit. From N in John Day at jct US-26 & US-395 go S on US-395 ~10 mi to CR-65 (Canyon Creek Rd). CR-65 poorly marked. Jct is on curve to R. TL (E) on CR-65 (becomes FR-15) ~14 mi to jct w/ FR-16. TR (W) on FR-16. CG sign visible from jct. Or from S on US-395 at Seneca TR( E) on FR-16 ~11 mi. CG on L just before jct w/ FR-15. N44.176583 W118.769233. 4,900′. All rds paved. CG is wooded, but few sites are well shaded. Trees show burn damage from forest fire, grass is OK. Gravel CG rds/aprons. Many sites have lg, poorly defined aprons, allowing pkg orientation options, multiple vehicles, lg rigs. Satellite friendly. Cell service ~5 mi W toward Seneca. Grant County FG. BD sites (FHU over fee criteria). Restrooms, showers ($5 shower-only), W. No D but ask permission to use empty FHU site, prob $5. Trash receptacles. BD $15. Pay at office or at RV Park kiosk. 3rd Ave loops around N end of town from SR-26. If coming from the E on US-26, TR onto NE 3rd Ave, look for lg field on L across from FG for BD pkg (some hay & other remnants of horses, Sep 13). If coming from the W on US-26/395, TL just past Les Schwab onto NW 3rd Ave, look for lg field on R across from FG for BD pkg. 44 25.061N 118 56.906W. Winter spaces 1-8 have W.There is also a BD area at the RV Park in the FG. Directions to RV Park: From the above, once on 3rd Ave, go N on Bridge St, TR into 2nd entrance for FG, look for sign Grant County RV Park. 44 25.2687N 118 57.2649W. If full, can BD in a field, ask.
