Private Open Area. O/N. No prohibitive signs. Police said OK to stay. On SR-14, go 0.3 mi W of jct SR-14 & 35. Large grassy area on S side of rd across from Sunnyside Motel & Vermillion Restaurant. Used by 18 wheelers. Might be mushy when wet. Police also said we could stay in bank pkg lot across from police sta, but must be out by 7 AM. Virginia/Cliff Haycock Mar 93. Hebert Public Boat Landing, lg gravel pkg lot. No facilities. Free. No signs prohibit O/N pkg. ~11 mi S of Kaplan on SR-35, TR (SW) on SR-82 at Forked Island, go 8.3 mi.
