E side is paved, no cars, ample pkg & turning area, horse corrals & dog walks. Gravel lot not exactly level. Bldg on E side has W (for filling jugs, long hose needed to reach). I-80 x275, go 1 blk N, TL (W) on E 1st St, go ~1 mi to lot for oversize vehicles w/ lined diagonal pkg, easy in/out. 40.67036 -99.04247. Some noise from I-80, few or no trucks in lot. Spans I-80, great museum to the Westward Expansion (fee). Picnic area. Bridge to feed carp from. 8 mi bike/hike trail. Other sights worth seeing: Ft Kearney (a stop on the Western Expansion), Nebraska Firefighters & Education Assn Museum just before Arch Museum on same rd, & Rails to Trails Museum .
