Elev 4150′. Boat launch. Birding paradise, lots of bugs, most harmless. Skunks in area, leash dogs. Hiking trails nearby. Good ATT & Verizon cell and data. Odessa Creek CG (NF). Vault toilet. Free. 14 day limit. Normally closed winter, but in use Feb 15 due to no snow. 24 mi NW of town on SR-140, near MM 48 (44 mi E of Eagle Point), go ~1 mi N on FR- 3639 to CG. 2 spaces for 30′ RV, 3 for 23′.
