NOTES – Not reported as O/N locations. 1) Per Parker Dam Security 760-663-3712, no RVs larger than a van or pickup camper are allowed across the dam on SR-95 Spur. Very narrow lanes. This does not affect travel in AZ on main SR-95 from LHC to Parker. SR-95S goes across the dam & becomes Parker Dam Rd which goes S down CA side of Colorado Riv to Earp.
2) LHC Ordinance: “9.12.060 CAMPING. A. It is unlawful for any person to camp within the city limits except in those areas specifically designated for overnight camping.” Includes areas along scenic Beachcomber Blvd, formerly OK for RV O/N, but is in the city limits & RVers are evicted by police after 10p.
3) All areas of Havasu NWR are closed to camping.
4) London Bridge Visitor Ctr, SW corner US-95 & London Bridge Rd at S end of town, has 2 free maps of town – 1 overview & 1 detailed st.
5) Zip’s, SE corner Mesquite & Lake Havasu Aves, convenient gas & propane. Lg rig enter to R from Lake Havasu Ave NB, then exit to Mesquite EB.

9) LHC PO good for GD. S side Mcculloch Blvd, 0.2 mi E of Lake Havasu Ave. 8:30-5, 9-1 Sat. GD Zip 86403.
10) Laundromat, 1.75/.75, at Mobil, Lake Havasu Ave just N of Mesquite, W side.
11) D ($15) at Lake Havasu SP, go in main entrance W off London Bridge Rd (signed).

BD, SR-95 N of town. No facilities except stone fire rings some places. Free, but permit required if State Trust Land (see AZ Note 3). 14-day limit. ~1 mi N of Walmart in N end of town, ~12 mi S of I-40, MM 190.5, 34.58501 -114.3685, Craggy Wash (BLM). No sign on hwy, very sm sign after turnoff. Lg clearing at turnoff which is just N of sm airport on E side of hwy. No camping signs 1st 0.6 mi, then just ahead past host, go straight where main dirt rd bears R (34.59351 -114.36201), many lg-rig established sites at “the meadow”. Or continue up to 1.2 mi further on main rd to last site on L that is lg enough for turnaround w/out unhooking (34.59542 -114.34275). Lg rig cannot go more than 0.3 mi further due to sharp narrow curve w/ soft berm along deep ditch, but rd continues several more mi w/ many more sites reachable w/ sm rig. Busy wkends. Verizon OK. Rd a little rough in a couple of spots, just take it slow. Camping areas start about 0.2 mi in. Any rds that lead off the lg open areas are too rough for lg rigs. Most areas not very level. No size limit, mostly level, dirt rds. Room for dozens of RVs. Lg rig can make it up to 0.6 mi in on main rd (rocky areas, take it slow), curving to L & part-way up hill to lg open area w/ dispersed sites & turnaround. Verizon 4 bars. Graded hillsides, said to have been done decades ago for resort that was never built. Said to be old mining area. Views of riv. Hike to riv & hills behind. A few lg cacti.
