All paved hwys & CG rds. On E shore of lake. Good Verizon & ATT. 1) Venango CG. 201 sites (87 w/ E). From I-70 x219 go 7.5 mi S to Ellsworth, TL (E) on SR-140, go ~14 mi to SR-141, go 8.2 mi S on SR-141, TR on Venango Rd, follow signs. Or, from I-135 x93 go ~19 mi W on SR-140 to SR-141, TL (S), follow above. Or, from I-135 x72 or x78, go W to Lindsborg, then 16 mi W on SR-4, TR (N) on SR-141 (W of Marquette), go 5.2 mi to Venango Rd, TL, follow signs. N38 38.0 W97 59.267 at CG entrance. 2) Riverside CG. 32 sites (9 w/ E). From Venango Rd & SR-141, go 2.5 mi S across dam on SR-141, TL (E) into CG. Or, from jct SR-4 & SR-141 W of Marquette, go 2.7 mi N on SR-141 to CG on R (E) just before dam. Visitor Ctr. Below dam (sign says if siren sounds, evacuate), riv access, no view.
