Buffalo Gap CG, Little Missouri Natl Grasslands (NF). 37 sites in 2 loops. Tables, fire rings. 3 free showers, flush toilets, D. $20, S/A Pass 1/2. Open Mem Day-Labor Day (later, weather permitting, but W off when freezing). 7 mi W of town, I-94 x18, then N. N46.95333 W103.67185. All rds and camping spurs paved. Some lg rig spaces. 1/2 of sites have trees. Verizon varies by location, good satellite. I-94 noise. Prairie dog town, paved trail to scenic vista overlooking Badlands, & Petrified Forest hike in Teddy Roosevelt NP nearby. No reservations. Go S from Pacific Ave (loops S of town between I-94 x24 & x27) on E River Rd (signed to Sully Creek SP/Bully Pulpit Golf Course), ~20 mi (becomes good gravel at golf course, follow “Custer Trail” signs) to CG on W side at top of hill. N46 46.673 W103 30.849. ~0.2 mi N of Tracy Mtn Rd/FR-762. Good gravel interior rds, unshaded back-in pads, some OK for lg rigs. Well marked from the E edge of Medora. Most sites lg unshaded flat/level gravel pullthrus. Ranger asked us not to use sites at N end w/ corrals in case people came in w/ horses. 701-667-6340. No D. $14, $7 when W off in winter, S/A Pass 1/2. 14-day limit. Even sites no reservations, odd sites rec.gov. ~5 mi on park rd from entrance/visitor ctr. Any size rig, some sites 100′ long.
