Willow Flat CG (Canyonlands NP, Island in the Sky section). 12 BD sites (2 pullthru), tables, fire rings/grills. Trash cans, vault toilets. $15, S/A Pass 1/2. 7 day limit. No reservations. Go ~10 mi N of Moab on SR-191, TL (SW) on SR-313. Go 14 mi, bear R on Island in the Sky/Grand View Point Rd, go ~8 mi (entering NP), follow signs to CG. Max length 28′. Lone Mesa dispersed areas (BLM). ~40 designated BD sites in multi-rd area. Rock fire rings. Free. 14-day limit. Crude map avail at BLM in town. Rds into camping areas are dirt & rock, could be dangerous if raining. Mostly unshaded. Great views. ORV trails. . Go ~10 mi N of Moab on SR-191, TL (SW) on SR-313, go 8.5 mi (MM 14), TR (NW) at “Lone Mesa Group CG” sign, 1) go 1.3 mi, TR at “Dead End” sign, go 0.1 mi up hill to Lone Mesa dispersed area, sites designated w/ “camping” sign. 38.64342 -109.8199. Very lg gravel BD area (BLM). No facilities. Free. 14-day limit. Go ~10 mi N of Moab on SR-191, TL (SW) on SR-313. At MM 8, SR-313 bears L toward Dead Horse SP. 1.6 mi further, go L at Y on dirt rd (maps show as CR-135, Long Canyon Rd). Go 0.1 mi to Y w/ gravel rd to L. Go 0.2 mi on gravel rd to area. N 38 32.803 W 109 45.514. Previous reports of no camping outside CGs along SR-313, but this is a different designated rd & there are no restrictive signs; however, see & . Mtn view. OK for any size RV. Near SP & N entrance to Canyonlands NP. Area full of industrial equipment apparently associated w/ gas or oil drilling leases, Oct 17, REPORT NEEDED as to whether this continues. Willow Springs Rd OHV area, Utahraptor SP. No facilities. $15. US-191, ~1.5 mi N of jct US-191 & SR-313. Look for turnoff on E side. 38.69695N 109.69662W. Rd sign is prominently displayed before turnoff. Rough dirt rd w/ dispersed sites in a popular OHV area. Good Verizon, 4G. 1 good site at 38.6967 -109.691. Great view. Copper Ridge Dinosaur Tracks, Utahraptor SP. Dispersed sites along maintained gravel rd. Rock fire rings. Pit toilets. $15. 14 day limit. 23 mi N of town on US-191, S of I-70, MM 148.5. Signs say North Klondike Bluff Trails. Turn E across RR by gas lines (BLM-143 on maps). Follow signs to Copper Ridge Dinosaur Tracks. Many sites along rd. 38.8286 -109.7653. Any size rig. Ken’s Lake CG (BLM). 48 BD sites in 2 sections, & overflow pkg. Tables, fire rings. Vault toilets, trash bins. $20, S/A Pass 1/2. 14-day limit w/in 30. Reserve rec.gov part of yr. US-191, 10 mi S of Moab, near MM 118, turn E on old Airport Rd for 0.5 mi, then R on Spanish Valley Rd (aka La Sal Mtn Rd). Go 1.3 mi and TL at fire warning sign to Ken’s Lake. N38 28.603 W109 25.155. Any size rig in 1st loop sites 1-19, mixture of sites in 2nd loop. Good fishing. Bike & 4WD trails. Quiet, scenic. Limited Verizon. ATT & T-Mobile good.
