Torrance County Park. BD, some stone fire rings. Free. I-40 x194, go 1 mi S, TR (W) on Martinez Rd, go 5.5 mi, TL (S) on County Park Rd. Look for a NM Big Horn Range sign. Or, I-40 x187, go S, immed TL on Old Rt 66, go 4.5 mi, TR on Lexco Rd (middle school on L), go ~2.5 mi, TR on Martinez Rd (not well marked, look for NM Big Horn Range sign, a gun range), go 2.5 mi. TL (S) on County Park Rd. Best to stop after entering Park & scout in sm vehicle or on foot for a suitable spot (~1/2 mi in the rd goes down a steep grade that some rigs might not want to travel).
