Reservations required, rec.gov. 14-day limit w/in 30 at Cochiti Lake. From jct SR-22 & SR-16, go N on SR-22 ~4 mi. CG is on R just after sign for town of Cochiti Lake. N35.6424 W106.33298. Paved CG rd in 4 loops. E site loops: Buffalo Grove, Juniper. BD site loops: Ringtail Cat, Elk Run. Some sites w/ paved pads, some very long. Sites unshaded. Good TMobile data, Verizon, & ATT. All but Juniper loop have decent views of lake. Boat ramp/swimming when water high enough, Playground. Busy wkends. Gas sta, sm store, laundromat, golf course in town of Cochiti Lake. A similar CG on E side of the lake, Tetilla Rec Area (closed mid-Oct), is accessed from SR-16 between I-25 & SR-22, signed. Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks NM (BLM) 5 mi away , good hiking, closed mid-Sep.
