Free, must register on website & get special use permit (provided instantly), or at Visitor Ctr, or call 561-924-5310. 8-day limit/stay, 1 day out. 30 day limit/yr. Horse usually not needed – call ahead 561-924-5310 to learn if closed to non-equestrian users due to a scheduled “horse event”, or open only to hunters & hikers during hunting season. Reserve well ahead for a Jan/Feb stay. ~3 mi E of Port Mayaca, on SR-76 (~10 mi W of Indiantown). Enter Gate 3 (if closed/chained, open & close it behind you). N27 0.275 W80 33.377. Park anywhere in the yard, mostly hard sand. Lg rigs OK. Some trees, some sites solar-OK. Some rd noise. Dogs permitted. Sometimes fills. Good Verizon.
