Free except Discover Pass required (see WA NOTE 1). 1) From Quincy, jct SR-28 & SR-281, go 5 mi S on SR-281, TR (W) on ‘5-NW’ (or, from I-90 x151, go 4.3 mi N on SR-281, TL (W) on ‘5-NW’), go ~3 mi, TL (S) on ‘T-NW’ (marked ‘Public Fishing & Hunting’). Go S on Road T where ‘5-NW’ bends to the NW, on good all-weather gravel rd to ~10 BD sites along 4 sm lakes. N47.138 W119.93119. Park anywhere except at ‘no camping’ signs. 3) I-90 x143, go ~1 mi N on Silica Rd, TL (W) on Frenchman Coulee Rd. 1st pkg area is ~1 mi from Silica Rd, sometimes has a portajohn. Area serves rock climbers. 2nd pkg area is ~1 mi beyond 1st one. Serves hikers to the Babcock Bench above the Columbia Riv. Last pkg area is at the W end of Frenchman Coulee Rd on the bank of the Columbia Riv. Camping area, portajohn, boat ramp. May 16.
