Lake Fork Rd BD (NF). Rock fire pits. Free. 16-day limit posted. US-212 ~10 mi SW of town to MM 59, TR on Lake Fork Rd/ FR-2346 (signed Lions Camp & Lake Fork Trail). After turning, you can see FR-2346 sign, go ~200′, go over a bridge, go ~200′, TL across another bridge, short rough rd to BD area. N45.0819 W109.37751. N45.16105 W109.38754. Room for 1 rig, 27′ max. Tight single-lane access. No Verizon. Trees but solar OK. 1-2 other sites in area, also more trailheads w/ BD sites further down W Fork Rd. Upper Red Lodge Creek Rd, BD (NF). 12.5 mi NW of town on SR-78 (following signs to Luther), TL on Lower Luther Rd (dirt), thru the village of Luther, then TL on Upper Red Lodge Creek Rd, pass Hope Ranch (on R), enter Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, TR toward Red Lodge Creek Trailhead, go 6 mi (dirt) to an open meadow (N45.25155 W109.45663, 5603′ elev) OK for BD, & a rd that goes to the trailhead & a loop of dispersed sites.
