Anti-RV Ordinance. Reno has an ordinance prohibiting sleeping in an RV O/N except at a CG. Several years ago the city went to the casinos & told them if they continued to allow RV O/N pkg the casino would be cited. After some complaints, on 2/11/09 the City Council deliberated, expressed the importance of RVer’s visits & voted to leave the current ordinances in place. City states that they will respond to complaints, but will not look for violators. They state that an O/N visit will probably not generate a complaint if there is no external evidence of camping, i.e. lawn chairs, bbq, etc. In any case, the ordinance has been threatened in the past only against property owners allowing RV O/N pkg on their premises, not against RVers who park there. Some Reno casinos are again beginning to allow RV O/N on their premises. Ken & Joanne Parsons #72707 Oct 12.

Or, I-80 x13, go ~2.5 mi N on Virginia St. 4720 North Virginia St. 39.57131 -119.8257. Any size RV. Security patrolled. Self-contained RVs only – don’t “make camp”. Very quiet at night.
