EW $20, BD $10, + $3/person entrance fee or annual pass (see TX Note 3 below). Open all yr, W off in winter. Go S from Port Arthur on SR-87. At ~10 mi, it makes a sharp R curve at Sabine Pass. Beach BD. No facilities. Free. Go S from Port Arthur on SR-87. At ~10 mi, it makes a sharp R curve at Sabine Pass. Go 12 mi more, TL at a “Public Beach Access” sign (1.7 mi past entrance to Sea Rim SP). Area is just outside of the SP. 29.66756 -94.07083. Caution: Park on hard-pack & allow for tides. “Road Closed” sign ~1/8 mi further down rd. 1st 200′ of beach OK for any size rig, 1st 1/2 mi for rigs up to 30′. Miles of isolated beachcombing. PHOTO.
