D, free. At sewer plant 1/2 mi N of town on 8th Ave (past Pepsi Cola, immed past Safford Clinic), very sm sign. TL, then L again after entering gate. Once inside the fence, follow signs (go to end of paved rd, TR). 32.84112 -109.7235. 1395 W Reclamation Way. After the concrete slab, the dump tubes are behind the structure on L. Don’t go off concrete (but very long hose needed) when ground soft from rain. Open 7a-4p. Not an O/N location. 928-348-3157. Cluff Ranch Wildlife Area. BD. No facilities. Free. Go ~9 mi W on US-70 to Pima, TL on S Main St towards mtns, go ~1.5 mi. S Main St turns slightly R, becomes W 1200th St. Go another 0.5 mi, TL on S 400th St. Go 0.6 mi, rd becomes Cluff Ranch Rd (washboarded). Continue ~3 mi to Wildlife Area entrance. Camping in designated areas. One near entrance & Pond #1 is at 32.8197 -109.845. Private, room for 1 or 2 rigs, some bushes close to rd, nice hiking trail up hill w/ view of area. Largest camping area seems to be Pond #3 ~4 mi from entrance, 32.8053 -109.861. Gravel lot w/ back-in area, room for multiple rigs. There are other spots designated as well. TR (S) on Haekel Rd (between MM 347 & 348, N32 48.289 W109 34.787), go 1.1 mi to where rd makes sharp L curve, continue to R on gravel, camp area is immed on R. No fee for vehicle in tow. 3 ways to get there: 1) From Safford, go 8 mi E on US-70. TR (S) on Haekel Rd (between MM 347 & 348, N32 48.289 W109 34.787), go ~24 mi to the area. 2) From Bowie, go 2 mi N on Central Ave to Fan Rd. Go 1 mi E then go N on Donahue 1 mi. Turn E on Rosewood, go 6 mi to Haekel, then another 9 mi N to the site. 3) From SR-191, go E on Tanque Road near MM 105. N32 31.303 W109 26.426. Abundant flat easy BLM area. ATVers on wkends. PHOTO. BD areas & CG, SR-266 W of US-191 (NF). No facilities except as noted. Free. 14 day limit. From Safford, go ~17 mi S on US-191, MM 105, TR on SR-266. Or, from I-10 x352 W of Bowie go ~17 mi N on US-191, TL (W) on SR-266. Several pullouts in 1st 6 mi. Lg one on N side, MM 105. Tiny loop at 105.8, S side. More on N side at 106.3, 107.2, 107.8 (NF boundary). Inside NF are sm dirt rds, interesting rocks, canyons & washes to hike.
MM 108.9, TL on dirt rd, couple of good spots for single med rig w/in 1/4 mi. Several sm dirt rds split off, incl FR-661. Elev ~4300′. May see coati mundi along riparian areas.
110, Gillespie Wash, TR on dirt rd just before wash. Several spots w/in sight of hwy, OK for lg rigs. Hwy lightly used. Sm rigs can go farther from hwy. Debby Beatty #135578 stayed Oct 17.

115.5, just below Stockton Pass, FR-665. Good group site near hwy for several med & 1-2 lg rigs. High desert grassland w/ a few large junipers. Elev 5500′. Dirt rd goes up to addl sites, gets rougher, rutted. Hiking trail.
116.5, Stockton Pass CG. Tables, a few grills, lg firepit for group site, vault toilet, trash cans. ~7 mi E of Bonita, 12 mi W of US-191, go ~1/2 mi N on FR-198. Tiny “picnic” sign at hwy, but FS website & on-site signs say CG. 1st short section of dirt rd up to 1st turn has a few ruts. 10′ wide cattle guard at CG entrance. Lg enough for several ~24′ rigs. Hiking trailhead. Horse corrals on R just before CG entrance. Elev 5600′.

Continue 500′ to site. 32.57693 -109.6845. Flat, level, OK for 2-3 lg rigs. Can park in circle or back in closer to the wash. Amazing views, great solar, minor hwy noise. Good Verizon.
